Lobbying for the Arts
As a performing musician, Ludwig Güttler knows too well about the need to lobby for the arts. He therefore dedicates time and energy for the procurement and promotion of cultural traditions and their prerequisites. For this endeavour he seeks to contact policy makers and also tries to win over young people as future concert goers. Güttler also is committed to issues concerning cultural identity in an ever more interdependent Europe. He is a founding member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts and member of the Deutsche Nationalstiftung and has been senator for the SächsischeKultursenat for eight years.
